2 from Butler escape injury in six car accident in Cass county

This morning around 7:30 a 30 year old male and 47 year old female both from Butler, who were in separate vehicles, escaped injuries in a multi vehicle accident on 291 highway just south of route 58 in Cass County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, another vehicle slowed for traffic which resulted in a multiple rear-ender involving the other 5 vehicles, including the two from Butler.

No serious injuries were reported however, four vehicles received extensive damage and were towed from the scene.

Due to a change of policy, the MSHP no longer provides names of those involved in accidents.
