Details released in accident this evening
Terrance M. Bresette, 62 of Belton Mo. received serious injuries this afternoon around 5:50 p.m. on route 18, just east of county road 7003. According to the report, Bresette was westbound when his Ford van left the south side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, coming to a rest on its wheels.
He was taken by medical helicopter to Overland Park for treatment. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Patient airlifted following rollover accident on 18 highway
Around 5:50 this evening Adrian Fire Department first responders and Bates County EMS were dispatched to the scene of a single car rollover accident approximately 8 miles east of Adrian on 18 highway.
Injuries to one of the occupants were deemed serious enough to have the patient airlifted to Overland Park Regional Hospital. Authorities have been on the scene just over an hour as the road is being cleared at this time.

Obituary - Edna Saylor
Edna Alberta Saylor, 94, Adrian, MO, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Adrian Manor Nursing Home in Adrian. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian with visitation from 10:00-10:30. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adrian Public Library or to Heartland Hospice.
