Elevated fire danger Sunday afternoon

Light rain showers moving through the region this morning will give way to breezy and dry conditions this afternoon. This will likely lead to elevated fire weather concerns later today. Be especially careful if performing any open burning outdoors! Temperatures will continue moderating this week with upper 70s possible by Wednesday. Showers and storms will return Wednesday night as a cold front approaches from the west.
