Obituary - Maxine (Kinney) Woodall
Maxine (Kinney) Woodall, Independence, Mo. and formerly of the Worland & Freeman area in Bates County, passed away Monday, October 31, at the age of 88.
Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, and burial is to follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill.
The family receives friends between nine and ten o'clock Friday morning, November 4, at the funeral home.

Stolen trailer in Henry County
The Henry County Sheriff's Office sent out a Nixle about a stolen black in color lawn mower trailer that was taken within the last 30 minutes around the area of Missouri Highway 2 and Highway J in rural Henry County.
The suspect vehicle is said to be a gold in color unknown make or model mini van.

Early morning rollover in Cass County injures Tennessee man
On 11/2/16 around 12:40am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the Northbound Lanes of I-49 at Mile Marker 151.4 in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1999 Volvo driven by 49 year old Jimmie L. Hooks of Memphis, Tennessee swerved to miss a deer in the roadway causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway, Mr. Hooks over corrected and traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Jimmie L. Hooks sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by Cass County EMS to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri for treatment.
The Volvo received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
