Theft report in rural Amoret
On December 3, 2016 a Deputy responded to County Road 7001 in Amoret, MO to take a theft report.
The reporting party stated that they were gone from their residence for about 5 hours that evening. When they returned they found tire tracks that led to their barn. They found that there were 9 cases of Moon Travel bottle rockets missing from their barn.
He believed that it could possibly have been teenagers that took them because nothing else was stolen from the barn.
The cases of bottle rockets have a serial number of 43F277/091/11 and an item number of 0440S located on them. They are valued at approximately $450.00.

Tammy was born March 7, 1974 in Maryville, Missouri, the daughter of Martin and Terry (Fischell) Christiansen. She was a 1992 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Tammy was medically discharged from the U.S. Navy. She worked at Taco Bell in Harrisonville. Tammy loved her dog, “Boog”.
She loved to read and draw, and spend time with her nieces and nephews. She always tried to help others when she could, and she helped take care of a special friend, Bryon Pennington, of East Lynne, Missouri. Tammy was a very outgoing person; she loved people. She didn’t know a stranger.
Tammy was preceded in death by a nephew, Jase Williams, her maternal grandmother, Pat James and step-grandfather, Loren, and her paternal grandparents, Frank and Doris Christiansen. She is survived by her father, Martin Christiansen and stepmother, Lisa, East Lynne, Missouri; her mother, Terry Crowley, Clarinda, Iowa; her dog, “Boog”; three sisters, Sheralyn Morris (Chad), Belton, Missouri, Kylie Christiansen, East Lynne, Missouri, Jennifer Christiansen, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; two brothers, Rick Baxter, St. Joseph, Missouri and Jason Williams, Kansas City, Missouri; her maternal grandfather, Ralph Fischell and step-grandmother, Barbara, Clarinda, Iowa; special aunt, Samm Henness, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Update: Man arrested after shooting former Butler man in Blairstown

Deputies identified the victim as Roy A. Love, age 21 of Eldorado Springs, Missouri (Formerly of Butler, Mo).
Mr. Love was transported from a residence to a Kansas City area hospital to be treated for his wounds.
The shooter was identified by the victim but the circumstances of the shooting are still not clear.
On Friday, December 2, 2016 Shang Howard, age 34 of Raymore, Missouri was taken into custody by Detective Kubilus on an investigative hold for assault 1st degree surrounding the shooting that occurred in Blairstown on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
Mr. Howard was formally charged by the Henry County Prosecuting Attorney's Office with assault 1st degree and armed criminal action.
The bond was set at $100,000.00 and Howard remains in custody at the Henry County Jail.
