Meet the Players this Sunday in Butler
Meet the Players will be this Sunday at 6:00 pm in the Butler high school gym for all spring athletes.

Public Service Announcement from the Butler Police Department
The Butler Police Department will be participating in the DEA Drug Takeback campaign. The Butler Police along with the Bates County Health Department will be participating in the drug turn in program sponsored by the DEA.
The turn in location will be the Bates Co Health Dept. located at 501 N Orange Butler MO. On April 29 2017 between the hours of 10 am to 2 pm.
We will be accepting any prescription and non-prescription medication which will be turned over to the DEA for destruction. We will not accept syringes or inhalers.
The Butler Police also have a medication drop box located in the lobby of the Butler Police Station that meds can be dropped off at anytime.

Rural fire protection dues
Rural fire protection dues can be paid starting April 1 and expire March 31 of the following year.
Membership fees shall be payable on or after the 1st day of April.

Help Wanted at Butler Aquatic Center
The City of Butler is now accepting applications for all positions at the Butler Aquatic Center. Lifeguard candidates must be 15 years of age by June 1, 2017. Lifeguard candidates must be or be able to become Red Cross certified lifeguards.
Pre-employment and post-employment random drug testing is required for all the positions. Starting pay is $7.70 per hour with automatic step increases for each year of service.
