Sara Jane “Sally” Burg, age 92 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Medicalodge of Butler. She was born April 10, 1934 to Earl Elmer and Anne Ellen Smith Thrasher in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Sally is survived by one son, Jeff Burg of Leawood, Kansas; two daughters, Thomi Herrell and husband Jim of Butler, Missouri and Bobbi Burg and wife Kelly of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren, Erin (Ian), Morgan (Justin), Logan, Jake (Shannon) and Dylan; and eight great-grandchildren. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thom Burg; grandson, Trent; and great-granddaughter, Honey Anne.
