Two from Archie Qualify for State Wrestling In St. Louis

Archie Elementary would like to recognize Brayden Daniels and Michael McCoy for going BEYOND! Both boys qualified for state competition in wrestling. Brayden is 10U-85 lbs. Brayden took first at districts and fourth at regionals. Michael is 12U-85 lbs. Michael took second at both districts and regionals. They will compete the weekend of March 25th in St. Louis. Great job, boys!

Congratulations Kaden Sutton

Archie Elementary would like to congratulate Kaden Sutton for competing in the Elks Regional Hoops Shoot contest in Paris, TN on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Kaden won at the school level, local level, district level and state level before advancing to the regional competition. Kaden competed against state winners from Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. He brought home a 3rd place trophy. Kaden was sponsored by the Cass County Elks and the Missouri State Elks organizations. We are proud of Kaden for going BEYOND!

Butler Youth Wresting Club Missouri State Qualifier Brendin Patrick son of Mike and CJ Patrick qualified last Saturday in Seneca, Missouri at the Regional Missouri State Championships. Brendin will be wrestling in St. Louis March 25th. - Best of luck to you!

Obituary - Ernest F. Diamond

Ernest F. Diamond, 84, Peculiar, MO, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25 at the First Baptist Church in Belton, MO with visitation from 10:00-11:00. 

Inurnment will be held in West Union Cemetery in Cleveland, MO. Contributions may be made to Heartland Christian School, 810 South Cedar, Belton, MO 64012.
