Flash Flood Potential This Weekend

Another round of heavy rain is on its way into the area, starting up Saturday morning and afternoon. Expect periods of heavy rain through Saturday night and Sunday morning before rains exit the area by Sunday afternoon. Aside from amounts being in the 1-3" in range (with locally higher amounts) local soils and streams are still rather swollen due to previous heavy rains, so any area that sees prolonged heavy rain will likely see some flooding.
