We are going to be set up tomorrow for lunch. From 11am to 2pm or unless we sell out. 

Come see us in the parking lot at Studio M Salon on North Orange Street in Butler just north of Midwest Lumber.

Obituary - Sharon Kay Brockman

Sharon Kay Brockman, 73, Nevada, MO passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at her home in Nevada. Sharon was born August 5, 1945 in Council Bluffs, IA to Newton William and Edna Mae (Reed) Aldredge. She married John E. Brockman on June 29, 1963 in Council Bluffs, IA and he survives of the home.

Sharon was born and raised in Council Bluffs and attended Thomas Jefferson High School. In 1967 she and John moved to the Carrollton, MO area and then to Nevada, MO in 1975. Sharon worked at Nevada Manor for ten years, Rambler Motel for six years, and was also a Nevada R-5 School District employee for five years until her retirement. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing, and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by three children, Sheryl Raines, Nevada, Shelly Gibbs and Willie Hastings, East Lynne, MO, Jeff Brockman and his wife Becky, Nevada; five grandchildren, Chelsie Poe and her husband Kyle, Colton Hardy and his wife Haylea, Briana Wiley and her husband David, Tyler Hardy and fiancé Tayten Starlin, and Austin Hastings; six great grandchildren, Zoey, Chloe, Bentley, Tinley, Lyric, and Nova; two brothers, Don Aldredge, Council Bluffs, IA, Steve Aldredge and his wife Janis, Carrollton, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bob Aldredge, Marvin Aldredge, Jim Aldredge; one sister, Beverly Nelson; and one son-in-law, Robert Raines.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada with Pastor Loren Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.

Updated Obituary - Tamara Mapp

Tamara Mapp, 23, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday morning, June 1, 2019 at her home following a hard-fought 3 year battle with glioblastoma multiforme cancer.
She was born May 24, 1996 in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Tia Marie Ragni.
Tamara was a 2014 graduate of Clinton High School. She was employed as a sales representative with Spectrum Cable. She had also worked for Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed art and making people laugh. Her own laugh was infectious, revealing dimples and sparkling eyes. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Tamara was very caring and leave many friends and loved ones behind as she continues her journey.
Surviving are her maternal grandmother, Kathleen Brackett; her uncle, Michael Connors; her mother, Tia Ragni, all of the home; special friend, Chase Daniels, Kansas City, MO; and numerous friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her uncle, William Connors.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., just prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in the Englewood Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to assist with the funeral expenses, and can be left in care of the funeral home.
