Elmer H. Campbell, age 96, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital-Plaza, Kansas City, MO. Condolences and fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com. 

 Funeral service will be 2 PM, Friday, June 14, 2019 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton.

Rich Hill man injured in Bates County rollover accident

On 6/6/19 around 3:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Missouri 52 Highway just west of Route V in the Virginia area.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Suzuki XL7 driven by 24 year old Zachary L. Ford of Rich Hill, Missouri veered off the north side of the roadway striking a concrete embankment and overturning.

Mr. Ford sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported to the hospital by a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper.

The vehicle was totaled and secured roadside and towed at a later time.
