Dr. Lindsay Henderson to continue serving in our area

Following the closure of the Chestnut street clinic in Butler, Dr. Lindsay Henderson will now continue to serve patients in the Bates county area

Dr. Henderson is working at Raymore Urgent care located at 242 Broadmoor in Raymore, Missouri (crossroads of route 58 and Johnston Pkwy). Raymore Urgent Care is a dedicated urgent care that is open 7 days a week 9-7 Monday-Friday and 9-4 Saturday and Sunday. No appointments are needed; walk in patients are seen in order of arrival.

Dr. Henderson understands that Butler and Bates County residents continue to need continuity of care especially as several of the long term physicians are retiring. She is working with Dr. David Ochs, owner of Raymore Urgent Care, to create options to continue dedicated family practice medicine. She is pleased to announce that in order to serve her patients that wish to continue care with her she will be seeing former and new patients by appointment only every Wednesday beginning at 9 am. Please call 816-318-1300 and ask to speak with office manager Sheralyn Morris for scheduling.

On other days of the week, Dr. Henderson provides urgent care services on a rotating schedule and is happy to see patients for minor, general, and urgent needs as well; just remember that appointments can only be scheduled on Wednesdays.

Note that Raymore Urgent Care is also is a VA authorized provider, meaning that patients may bypass the VA and come directly to Raymore Urgent Care using your DD214 or regular VA insurance.

Please feel free to call Raymore Urgent Care to find out when Dr. Henderson is available. Dr. Ochs and Dr. Henderson are also working to bring urgent care medical services closer to Butler and Bates County to provide this much needed service.

Please stay tuned to Mid America Live for more information. More about Dr. Henderson can be found at www.lindsayhenderson.com

Butler Medicalodge June Employee of the Month - Taylor Brooks

Congratulations to Butler Medicalodge June Employee of the Month - Taylor Brooks. Taylor has been a part of the Medicalodges family since 2016. Taylor is currently a CNA but plans to become a Registered Nurse.

Taylor is from a small town where she has taken care of livestock, driven a tractor and she can play a mean game of pitch! Her sense of humor is what wins the residents over.

She loves listening to her fellow coworker sing and play jazz and finds inspiration in listening to that music.Taylor, Medicalodges appreciates all that you do!!
