She was nominated by Abe Lewis, Adrian's athletic director and principal. Jenna passed 2000 career points and 1000 rebounds this season which is a phenomenal accomplishment. Jenna possesses a tremendous work ethic on and off the court. Academically she is ranked in the top 10 of her senior class. Mr. Lewis states, “Jenna is a good role model and leads a life of integrity and high moral character.”

When Jenna was asked to describe what it takes to become an elite athlete in her own words she stated "Hard work is number one. You have to have time management between the classroom and doing what it takes to succeed on the court. An elite athlete puts in that extra work to really be successful, and they have to have the heart and love for the game.

" We are very proud to present Jenna with this award and wish her and the Lady Blackhawks good luck the rest of the season. They take on Lakeland tonight at Adrian.
