Cass County Public Library is excited to announce that the Archie branch will be moving to a larger location in April

Cass County Public Library is excited to announce that the Archie branch will be moving to a larger location in April!

The new location is at 207A South Main Street, just a couple of blocks north of the current location. The 3300 square feet available will more than double the size of the branch and will include dedicated collection spaces, seating areas, and meeting room space for library events.

Moving to this new space is made possible by an opportunity presented by Todd Sears of Energy Curve Technologies to relocate the library to one of his vacant buildings on Main Street. He sees the library as an important part of the Archie community and, working with the library, has renovated the space for public use. The library system is in a much better position to add resources to the expanded space with the passage of Proposition L.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place at 10am on Saturday, April 3rd.
Masks are strongly encouraged and the library requests that visitors observe social distancing guidelines. The library will also be limiting the number of people inside the branch at one time. Thank you for doing your part to keep everyone healthy!

Expanded Hours
As the library is expanding service hours throughout the county as part of its phased reopening plan, the new Archie location will open with the following hours:
Mondays 1pm to 7pm
Wednesdays 9am to 1pm
Thursdays 1pm to 7pm
Saturdays 9am to 3pmWe will still offer curbside service on Mondays and Thursdays from 2pm to 7pm. Call the branch for more information.
