Nevada City Hall closed Thursday morning

The Nevada City Hall will be closed to the public Thursday morning from 8:30 to noon while the city conducts employee training, City Manager Mark Mitchell announced Wednesday.

Mitchell said that because of the City Hall closure residents need to plan ahead if they need to conduct city business.

Customers calling the city’s main phone line, 417-448-5115, will need to leave a voice message so all employees can fully participate in the training. Calls will be returned as soon as possible when City Hall re-opens for business at noon.

Mitchell apologized for the inconvenience, but asks for customers understanding because of the essential nature of the training.
