Traffic slowed in Cass County

Traffic Alert in Cass County! One lane of Southbound I-49 is closed at this time just south of Harrisonville due to a vehicle in the median.

Please slow down and use caution in this area and always remember to move over for emergency vehicles.

Turn your headlights on and pay attention! 


Drugs found in traffic stop in Harrisonville

On April 28th a Harrisonville Police Officers conducted a vehicle check in the 1400 block of Missouri 291 Highway. 

During the vehicle check, Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and came across $6,574 in cash, approximately 248.5 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 52.6 grams of assorted marijuana products and a variety of pills, all of which appear to be controlled substances. 

No arrest was made in this case as we are awaiting lab results. None of the subject’s present have a medical marijuana card issued and this case is still being investigated.

Obituary - Theodore E. "Ted" Bosley

Theodore E. "Ted" Bosley, 77, of Clinton, Missouri passed away early Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021 at his home. 

A memorial Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home. 

The family will receive friends following the the Celebration. Interment will be at a later date in the Parks Chapel Cemetery.

Henry County Health Center Confirms 3 new positive cases of COVID-19

The Henry County Health Center (HCHC) has received confirmation of 3 more positive cases of COVID-19. Clinton-3. This brings the total number of confirmed positive cases in Henry County to 1971.

All contact tracing has commenced and all parties that have had close contact are being notified. HCHC continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing, washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or more, and to remain home if you are sick.

The CDC continues to recommend that individuals to wear a face covering when you are in public, and are unable to social distance, to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
