Dear parents of the Miami R-1 School District

We appreciate the overwhelming support and concern for our students and staff. However, we are not able to provide specifics related to the investigation and/or the incident itself.

We are aware of rumors going around, though, and would like to reassure the community that there was no weapon on district property yesterday. - Courtesy of the Miami R-1 School District
