Please welcome Mickey Ary as the new City of Peculiar City Administrator

Peculiar Mayor Mike Gallagher announced today he has appointed Mickey M. Ary of Richmond, Texas to serve as Peculiar’s next City Administrator. Wanted man arrested in Belton

On 10-30-2021 at around 6 AM, the Belton Police received information that Dakota Gile was in the Lakewood Terrace area and was possibly armed with firearm.

As we previously released, Dakota was wanted by both our agency and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department for a variety of offenses to include burglary and resisting by fleeing. This information directly conflicted Dakota’s social media claims that he was in Tampa, Fl and invited us to come there to visit him.

Dakota was not initially located in the apartment complex, so Belton officers and Cass County deputies began canvassing the surrounding area. Dakota was located as he tried to re-enter the area from behind the apartment complex on E 173rd St where he was taken into custody without incident.

The reported firearm turned out to be a pellet gun. Dakota Gile is being held in the Cass County Jail on charges of First Degree Burglary, Resisting Arrest by Fleeing and a Parole Violation. Currently, there is no bond allowed on these charges.
