Obituary - Rhonda Maxine Enochs

Rhonda Maxine Enochs passed away on Friday November 26, 2021. She was born on September 15, 1961, in Lockwood, MO to Billy and May (Ridenhauer) Burton. Rhonda grew up in Lockwood, MO and attended Lockwood and Golden City Schools.

She married Robert Enochs on December 16, 1983. They stayed in the area and raised their children. Rhonda stayed active with her family and in her community.

She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and worked several jobs before she finished her career with 13 years at Bristol Manor in Lamar, MO. She enjoyed playing bingo with her mom and cooking. Rhonda’s life revolved around her family and her work, and she will be missed by all. Rhonda is survived by her husband; children, Michael Enochs of Lamar, MO, Heather Vincent and fiancĂ© Mike Hudgins of Neosho, MO, and Tara Pilcher of Sheldon, MO; grandchildren, Andrea Gastel, Keith Gastel, Jonathan Vincent, Jacob Vincent, Carrie Vincent, and Simon Jeffries; and great-grandchildren Braylee-Ann Culbertson, Kaeden Vincent, Layton Vincent, Rylan Vincent, Millie Vincent, and Brynlee Pugh.

She is also survived by her mother Mae Hurd of Mt Vernon, MO; and siblings, Ronnie Burton, Daryl Burton, Mickey Burton, Randal Hurd, and Brenda Sommerfeld; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is preceded in death by her father, and stepfather Lester Hurd. A memorial service will be held at Konantz Warden Funeral Home on Thursday December 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research or Kingspoint Cemetery in care of the funeral home.

Obituary - Forrest Loyd (Tony) Reynolds

Forrest Loyd (Tony) Reynolds was born June 18, 1959, to Ruth (Hood) and Tom Reynolds of rural Roscoe, Missouri. He attended Roscoe and Osceola schools where he achieved high grades. 

He worked for Jr. Nitsche for many years on the farm near Roscoe, MO. He married Georgia Murphy and she blessed him with two beautiful daughters Keisha and Melanie, who he loved very much.

Tony also worked for Chem-Trol, and Motts in Rockville, Missouri. He worked other places as well and the last place he worked was for the Appleton City Cemetery, where he very respectfully cared for, and tended graves. He could often direct anyone to the correct location of anyone buried in the cemetery.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Patsy Ann Bailey, Mary Alice Hammond, and Jo Burrow, nephews: Jeff Hammond, David Hawkins, and niece Tori Helm.

He is survived by daughters Keisha and Melanie, aunt Irene Shepherd of Spring Valley, CA, sisters: Ellie Masten, Joyce Dantes, and Pam Dutcher, and many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him!

Obituary - David C. Green

David C. Green, 46, Harrisonville, Missouri died Friday, November 26, 2021 in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. 

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Atkinson Funeral Home.

James “Jimmy” Edward Smith, age 65 formerly of Adrian, Missouri died Monday, November 22, 2021. He was born June 22, 1956 to John and Martha Jene Thomas Smith.

Jimmy is survived by one son, Tyler Smith and wife Kia of Farmersville, Texas; one daughter, Sara Smith of Archie, Missouri; two brothers, Kirk Smith and wife Debbie of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Larry Smith of Adrian, Missouri; two sisters, Debbie and Shelly; five grandchildren, Jennifer Lough, Joshua Lough, Jefferey Lough, Jackson Lough and Kariel Smith; and a special friend, Brenda Dampier and her girls Sarah and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepdad Harry McDowell.


Obituary - Cynthia Louise Smelley

Cynthia Louise Smelley, 62, of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home. She was born November 12, 1959 in Roanoke, Virginia, the daughter of Charles Milton Wine and Bernice Ellen Wine.
She was a God fearing woman who loved to read her Bible. One of her happiest moments was witnessing the baptism of her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her daughter and grandchildren. Surviving are one daughter, Tiffany Schmitt (Joe), Warrensburg, Mo.; one granddaughter, Gabrianna Schmitt and one grandson, Braiden Schmitt, both of Warrensburg, Mo.; two sisters, Jeannie and Melinda; and one brother, Ronald. She was preceded in death by her mother. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.
