Randy Eugene Braun, age 64, of Clinton, Missouri passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in his home. Randy was born in Clinton, the son of Charles and Wilma (Bath) Braun, raised in Clinton and spent his life working and loving his family and friends in Clinton.
He graduated from CHS in 1975, and even before then was working not only on the family farm, but in several places around town. From working at Safeway to owning rental properties, much of his life was spent growing Mid America Packaged Ice Company, and while he spent many hours of his life working, he always had time for his family and friends. He came to faith in Jesus Christ as a young adult and made it a priority to raise his children to know the Lord. His love for good food and a good laugh were his free time favorites. He was a kindhearted and good man, who enjoyed wearing his overalls and a good lunch buffet, who would do anything for anyone.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Les Cauthon, and nephew Ronnie Cauthon.
Randy is survived by his two children, his daughter Sandra Poff, of Clinton, and her children, Logan, Scarrlett, Jessica and Caiden, as well as many other foster grandchildren over the years. His son Scott Braun, and his wife Priscilla, of Omaha, NE, and their children Silas, Madalyn and Seth Braun. His companion and friend of the home, Deb Jagger, and her son, Tyler Jones, and his wife Anne, of Fort Wayne, IN and their children Theo and Thorin. His four siblings, Linda Cauthon, Peggy and Francis McCartney, Vickie and Mike Greufe, and Susan Braun. Nieces and Nephews include Ricky Cauthon, Jim McCartney, Troy McCartney, Chris Greufe, Nathan Greufe and Stephanie Overton. And many other family and friends.
