From the Linn Valley Kansas Police Department

On Sunday March 6th, Linn Valley Officers took a burglary report at residence in Linn Valley. The victim reported a handgun had been stolen.

On Tuesday March 8th, we received information from the school about a threat made on snap chat that referenced shooting people.

During that investigation we developed information that lead us to believe the same person or persons may be involved in the burglary. A search warrant was obtained and served. Two juvenile males were taken into custody and the stolen gun was recovered.

Daylight Savings Time This Weekend

This Sunday, March 13, marks the beginning of Daylight Saving Time. Studies have shown that DST trims electricity use in the U.S. by about 1% each day because less electricity is needed for lighting. Don’t forget to adjust your clocks and enjoy the energy savings! #SpringForward
