Obituary - Claudia Cordellia Vineyard
Claudia Cordellia Vineyard, 86, of Wellington, died on April 30, 2023. Born on October 8, 1936 in Qulin, MO to the late Ernest and Maudie (nee Martin) Maddux, Claudia grew up in Missouri.
Always placing God at the forefront of her life, Claudia was very active in her two Wellington churches, New Life Assembly of God Church and the Good Samaritan Church. She found great joy in being involved in almost every aspect of the service, from the music to the teaching.
Alongside her husband, Claudia became an ordained minister. For many years, she also led Sunday services at the Elms Retirement Village in Wellington. Claudia’s Christian faith truly was a guidepost in her life.
Claudia was a very active participant in her family’s lives; she was always there cheering on her kids and grandkids.
Survivors include her children, Carl (Jennie) Vineyard, of Avon, IN, Daniel (Penny) Vineyard, of The Woodlands, TX, Kathleen (Hal) Stiles, of Wellington and Tamatha (Steven) Squire, of Sheffield Lake; 19 grandchildren; and siblings, Almira Vinson and Carol Moore, both of Poplar Bluff, MO.

Obituary - Neale Swan
Neale grew up in Richards and later Nevada where he graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1943. Neale served in the United States Army for three years during WWII and was awarded three Bronze Stars. Campaigns he fought in included Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Following his service years, he returned to Nevada where he worked at Key Work Clothes for 25 years, then worked an additional nine years at 3M Nevada until his retirement in 1985. Neale was a longtime member of the Community Christian Church in Nevada. Other memberships included Nevada BPO Elks #564, and the American Legion.
Survivors include his granddaughter, Marsha Razo (Jesse) Springfield, MO; five great grandchildren, Dustin Hagerman, Cheyenne Newberry, Steven Pearce, and Travis Pearce, all of Springfield, and Ashely Pearce of Nevada; ten great great-grandchildren, Felicity Newberry, Adam Newberry, Bradley Hagerman, Kascidy Hagerman, Corey Hagerman, Autumn Hagerman, Aurora Pearce, Grace Pearce, Cameron Pearce, and Taylor Pearce; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Swan; and his daughter Lisa Mojonnier; three brothers, Kenneth Swan, Gordon Swan, and Lawrence Swan; and two sisters, Fern Pratt, and Eleanor Olsen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Adam Gordon officiating. Interment with Military Funeral Honors will follow in Newton Buril Park in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested in his name to Community Christian Church in Nevada c/o Ferry Funeral Home.

Obituary - Michael Casida
Michael Ray Casida, age 70 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, April 28, 2023 at Butler Center in Butler, Missouri. He was born June 23, 1952 to Raymond Dale and Eleanor Louise Hickman Casida in Kansas City, Kansas.
Michael is survived by five daughters, Christina Major and husband Aaron of Springfield, Missouri, Laura Fletcher and husband Paul of La Cygne, Kansas, Jessica McIntosh and husband Charles of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ashley Foss and husband Shayne of Butler, Missouri and Angela Casida of Butler, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Rhoads; and wife, Diana Rose Casida on August 18, 2012.
