Obituary - Holly Marie Noland

Holly Marie Noland, 26, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO, with the visitation beginning at 6:00 PM.

Holly was born in Olathe, KS, on June 10, 1997 to parents, Chad Noland and Elyse Eshnaur. Holly graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 2015. She would say that her greatest career was that of being a mom, as Mesa and Sterling were Holly's most proud accomplishment, and she loved them wonderfully and fiercely.

Holly could be described as so many things; beautiful, stubborn, funny, loving, but ultimately she was the bright shining star in a room. If you spent time with Holly, you were going to not only smile but laugh. You would be asked about your life and what was going on it - she had a sincere interest in the lives of others. Holly was quick-witted, had a contagious laugh, and the best wink in the room. And if she ever stuck her tongue out at you, you know she loved you! She loved to be outdoors, whether at the beach or in the mountains it did not matter. She liked to knit and to dance, would sing when she was happy, and always left an impression on those who knew her. Her light will be missed by all those who knew her.

Holly is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Janie Noland, and her maternal grandfather, Dutch Eshnaur. She is survived by her daughter, Mesa Rose Jones; her son, Sterling Vincent Jones; her father, Chad (Kim) Noland; her mother, Elyse (Regan Green) Eshnaur; grandparents, Mike (Vonda) Noland, and Kathy Eshnaur; brothers: Nicholas Eshnaur and Dylan (Dakota Dasinger) Noland; the father of her children, Chris Jones; and a significant extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as, an enormous community of friends, many of whom were like family to Holly.
