Obituary - Scott Tamura Hilworth

Scott Tamura Hilworth December 3, 1973-August 2, 2023. Scott Tamura Hilworth, age 49, of Butler, Missouri died August 2nd 2023 at St Lukes Hospital.

Scott was born in Missouri and was adopted by Mike and Charlotte Hilworth. He was the younger brother to Holly Hilworth (Durzo) Scott grew up in Stanley, Kansas and went to Stanley Elementary, Blue Valley Middle School and Blue Valley High School. He loved running around Blue Valley Riding neighborhood.

Scott worked for many years in the restaurant industry. He then started in the HVAC industry and got his apprenticeship in 2007. Scott had a love for cars and fixing them.

Scott's love for dogs was like no other, and at one time 10 dogs were part of his family. He loved to rescue Great Danes and Mastiff’s. His love started early in life when he would tell his parents he found this dog on the side of the road and bring it home to rescue it.

Scott loved his kids Jake, Brianna and Dylan so much. He loved them with all his heart. He loved to teach them everything he could about cars, building them, racing them and putting them back together. Another passion was hunting and they all knew at a very young age all about it.

Scott loved playing football and cheering for his Georgia Bull Dogs and Kansas City Chiefs.

Scott is survived by his loving and devoted wife Nancy Hilworth, his oldest son Jake Hilworth( Ali) his only daughter Brianna and his youngest son Dylan. He also has a step daughter Leslie Brightwell (Tim) and his precious granddaughter Kennedy who called him Papa Scott. He is survived by his father Michael D Hilworth and his sister Holly Durzo (Jeff) and his beloved nephews Brooks (Hackney), Dayton and niece Gabby. He was proceed in death by Heather Hilworth (2016) and his Mom Charlotte Ann Hilworth (2008).

Scott has many of his close friends he called "Brothers" and they sure were a brother to him.

Scott's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023. Place and time still to be determined.

Obituary - Willard Crust

Willard Crust age 91 of Archie, Missouri departed this life Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his home.

Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with internment at Dayton Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.

Family will receive friend's Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m at the funeral home.

Obituary - Kerry Bryon Klobnak

Kerry Bryon Klobnak, age 52, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home in Moberly, Missouri. Kerry's wishes were to be cremated. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Blakesburg Community Center in Blakesburg, Iowa. Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.

Kerry was born September 22, 1970 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Larry Eugene Klobnak and Wilma Jean Barnett Klobnak. He attended school in Albia, Iowa. While in school he was a member of the All-Star baseball team. After school he enlisted in the United States Navy and served for two years. He was a welder and fire fighter while in the service. After the service he worked for Ideal Tool and Key Hydraulics, both in Sedalia. He loved to fish, mushroom hunt and was willing to help anyone in need. He would spend hours looking for arrowheads and other Indian artifacts. He could see the fun in any situation. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Kerry found Jesus later in his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Mildred Klobnak and Frank and Helen Barnett.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Wilma and Bill Collins of Tightwad, Missouri; his father Larry Klobnak of Albia, Iowa; three sons, Patrick Klobnak, Daniel Klobnak, Conner Klobnak, and his daughter Finley Klobnak all of Sedalia, Missouri; two brothers, Chris Klobnak and wife, Kay and nephew, Zach, all of Albia, Iowa, Travis Klobnak of Albia, Iowa, his aunt Deb (James) Sampson and family of Blakesburg, Iowa, and uncle Terry (Carol) Barnett and family of Macon, Missouri.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.

Obituary - Nancy Kaye Oldham

Nancy Kaye Oldham, 81, Nevada, MO, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Nancy, the youngest of five children, was born October 3, 1941 in Flat River, MO to Russell and Opal Good. She was united in marriage to Charles Dale Oldham on October 16, 1972 and he survives of the home.

Nancy served at the YMCA and their Silver Sneaker Program for over 20 years. She will be remembered for her smile, her generosity, love and thoughtfulness, her love of living on the farm, and her compassion for rescuing dogs and cats.

In addition to her husband, Dale, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, including her nephew, John Powers, III, and her niece, Donna (Powers) Baxter, and their extended families. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating. Private Graveside Services will follow in Virginia Cemetery near Butler, MO

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the YMCA c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
