KC Man Charged with Three Fentanyl Deaths, Illegal Firearms
Lots and lots of teamwork and man-hours by the Belton Missouri Police Department, Jackson County Drug Task Force, Raymore Police Department, Cass County, FBI, ATF, and the U.S. District Attorney's office brought federal charges against Tiger Dean Draggoo, a 23-year-old Kansas City resident, along with seven other defendants for their roles in a drug-trafficking conspiracy that included illegal firearms and money laundering.
The federal indictment charges Tiger Draggoo with three counts of distributing fentanyl resulting in death. All defendants were charged in a 13-count superseding indictment returned under seal by a federal grand jury in Kansas City, Mo., on Wednesday, Sept. 27. The federal indictment charges Tiger Draggoo with three counts of distributing fentanyl resulting in death. Tiger Draggoo allegedly distributed fentanyl on Sept. 3, 2022, the use of which caused the death of another person. Tiger Draggoo allegedly distributed fentanyl between Aug. 22 and Sept. 13, 2022, the use of which caused the death of another person. Tiger Draggoo allegedly distributed fentanyl between Dec. 7 and 20, 2022, the use of which caused the death of another person.
According to an affidavit in support of the original criminal complaint filed against Draggoo on Jan. 23, 2023, at least one of the deaths was a Belton teenager associated with Draggoo, who died from acute fentanyl intoxication. On at least three more occasions, the affidavit says, Belton police officers were called because a juvenile was under the influence of fentanyl (one of those juveniles, who turned 18 after being contacted by police officers, is among the three fentanyl deaths). The indictment alleges that all seven defendants participated in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl from Dec. 1, 2021, to May 3, 2023. The indictment also alleges that all participated in a money-laundering conspiracy.
Tiger Draggoo is also charged with one count of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute, one count of possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, and one count of possessing an unregistered firearm. According to the indictment, Draggoo was in possession of a Jimenez Arms .380-caliber pistol, an Armscor .45-caliber pistol, a Taurus .357-caliber revolver, a Palmetto State Armory multi-caliber rifle, and a short-barreled Savage 12-gauge on Jan. 20, 2023. Those charges are related to Draggoo’s arrest on the federal complaint. Officers seized the fentanyl and firearms from Draggoo’s residence and vehicle when he was taken into custody. Additionally, Tiger Dragoo is charged with one count of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute, one count of possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, and one count of illegally possessing machine guns. Those charges were the basis of the original criminal complaint filed against Draggoo.
According to an affidavit filed in support of that complaint, police officers were conducting surveillance at an apartment complex on Sept. 22, 2022, when Tiger and Colt Draggoo left the apartment and got into a Jeep Renegade. Officers followed the Jeep and saw it commit numerous traffic violations while displaying erratic driving. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled from the deputy. A few minutes later, the Jeep returned to the apartment complex, and Tiger and Colt Draggoo entered the apartment. Tiger Draggoo carried a large laundry bag from the apartment and placed it in the backseat of the Jeep. When a Jackson County, Mo., sheriff’s deputy drove into the parking lot, Tiger Draggoo ran back into the apartment building. When officers knocked on Tiger Draggoo’s apartment door, the affidavit says his girlfriend initially told them he wasn’t there. After she allowed officers to enter the apartment, she admitted that Tiger Draggoo had run into the apartment and out the back door.
Officers searched the apartment and found 17 firearms, including two machine guns, ammunition of various calibers, $246,769 in cash, a ballistic vest with plates, a money counter, numerous pills that contained fentanyl, eight suspected LSD tabs, and marijuana. The 17 firearms included a Del-Ton 5.56-caliber rifle (converted into a machine gun), a Glock switch (used to convert a Glock pistol into a machine gun), three Marlin .22-caliber rifles, a Norinco 7.62-caliber rifle, a Mosin-Nagant rifle, an Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 .223-caliber rifle, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, an Armscorp USA .308-caliber rifle, a Century Arms 7.62-caliber rifle, a Herbert Schmidt .22-caliber revolver, a New England Firearms .22-caliber revolver, a Kimber 9mm pistol, a Glock 9mm pistol, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol, and a Metro Arms .45-caliber pistol. Williams is also charged with one count of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute and one count of possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime. Williams allegedly was in possession of a Springfield Armory 9mm semi-automatic handgun and a Girsan .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun on April 19, 2023.
The charges contained in this indictment are simply accusations and not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting the charges must be presented to a federal trial jury, whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence. https://www.justice.gov/.../kc-man-charged-three-fentanyl...

Obituary - Debra K. Ridley
Debra K. Ridley, age 70, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. As fate would have it, a major celestial event will occur that morning as well and Debbie would have been sure to tell everyone about it. The family encourages you to look to the skies, just as we know she would have.
Though born “Debra”, she had many names as she moved through her life. Known to most as “Debbie”, she was born in El Dorado, Kansas on July 12, 1953 to Keith and Dorothy (Rutherford) Fuller. A Kansas girl at heart, she grew up as a farm girl, competing in 4-H and working the farm in her youth, side by side with her father. Fuller’s Earth was an important part of who she was and she never truly left the farm behind.
After high school, Debbie earned another name, Debbie RN, becoming a fierce and compassionate advocate for her patients. She left her work several times throughout her life to pursue other life adventures, but she carried with her the ability to aid and comfort those who needed her.
In 1982, Debbie took on the name that brought her immense joy, love and pride: Mom. Matthew and Andrew were her greatest blessings in life and she dedicated everything she had to raising two strong, kind, and independent young men. She dedicated her life to her family and in raising her boys, she was very involved with them in their activities with Boy Scouts of America. Never afraid to push her way down a trail, pitch a tent, or get her hands dirty, Mom was a Den Mother and Adult Leader. She earned yet another name as part of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, Honored Woman Solitary Gliding Moon. It was a name she earned with pride, side by side with her boys.
On October 13, 2001, Debbie found herself with yet another name, Mrs. Ridley, as she married the love of her life, Dr. Kirk Ridley. As Mrs. Ridley, she found a partner who loved adventure as much as she did as they hiked through the mountains of Colorado, rode in hot air balloons, saw the Northern Lights in Alaska, and ziplined, helicoptered, four wheeled and Segway-ed around the world. In “Kirkster” she found love and safety; a partner in every sense of the word. He was her match and, in their marriage, she found true love, support and happiness. Through their union she also gained two step-daughters, Andrea and Chandra.
In 2008, Debbie earned the name she may have loved the most: Gamma. Debbie threw herself into life as a grandmother with the same sense of devotion as she did a mother. She loved her granddaughters, Charlotte and Audrey, in a way only a grandmother can. She found tremendous joy in spending time with them, taking them exploring through Bedside Manor, reading with them, watching movies with them (even after they spoiled the ending), and playing endless and intensely competitive games of Uno. She always found a way to sneak an extra loaf or two of her famous poppyseed bread into their hands and out of the reach of their father and uncle.
Debbie was happiest in the outdoors and her family will forever see her in the flowers of their gardens.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Dorothy Fuller; and niece, Julie Fuller.
Here cherishing her memory are her loving husband, Dr. Kirk Ridley; two sons, Matthew Freeman (Linda) and Andrew Freeman (Jill Shrader); two stepdaughters, Andrea Flake (Zach) and Chandra Beadleston (Scott); grandchildren Charlotte, Audrey, Garret, Theo, Liam, Ava, Jacy and Benjamin; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Debbie loved flowers and would love a room full of color and beauty, but if inclined, those who would like to make a donation in her memory should do so to their local library. As Debbie’s health began to limit her time outdoors, she immersed herself in the world of books, spending much of her time exploring and adventuring through the written word.
