Butler Elementary School playground gets much needed makeover

What a busy weekend at the Butler Elementary School!!! We were able to expand the playground border and install the NEW playground equipment, as well as add new rubber mulch to the area!

Big shout out to the Butler Lions Club for their large donation towards a piece of equipment earlier this year, that, in addition to our PTSO fundraising efforts, helped make this dream a reality for BES students.

Huge progress on the outdoor classroom! We have walls! And a roof!! A whole building! An outdoor classroom!! Now on to the final touches to the building to help bring it to life!! We hope you all love the red and black!!!

Last, but certainly not least, our sweet turtle that has seen many generations of kiddo's, also got a much needed facelift! We hate to announce names of our volunteers, as everything we do truly is a team effort, but to make these projects come to life and in such a timely manner, we want to show our utmost appreciation!!

First and foremost, THANK YOU to Midwest Lumber and Davis Designs for so many donated materials, and so much time and labor. None of this would’ve been possible without you!
