Obituary - Brent Lee Carroll

Brent Lee Carroll, 20, of Warrensburg, Missouri died unexpectedly Friday, June 28, 2024, surrounded by friends and family. He was born September 21, 2003 in Clinton, Mo., the son of Joel Lee Carroll and Crystal Lynn Tirey.

Brent was a young, new and loving father. He was a role model to so many friends, an admired brother and passionately devoted to his family.

While he has left us because God called for him, he had so much more to offer and lived life to its fullest.

Brent inherited his parents’ work ethic and applied his all to everything he did and wanted. He put everything he had into his job with Whiteoak Ventures. Many will remember him as a revered athlete in cross-country and, also, as an old soul with a down-to-earth, but witty personality, He was slow to anger and quick to forget.

He will remain in the memories of many generations to come, especially through the innate traits that he has passed on to his son, Fynn. Fynn will carry on Brent’s handsomeness, beautiful and warming smile, compassionate spirit and endearing love for family and friends.

The loss of Brent leaves a void in all that knew him. The laughter, love and his accomplishments will help to fill the hole in our hearts and remember him for eternity.

Surviving are his mother, Crystal Tirey, Warrensburg, Mo.; father, Joel Carroll (Racheal), Calhoun, Mo.; one son, Fynn Redford Carroll of the home, his life partner, Alexis Rowland of the home; three brothers, Cameron Mertz, Clinton, Mo., Koel Carroll, Calhoun, Mo., and Wyatt Carroll, Calhoun, Mo.; one sister, Harley Humerickhouse, Clinton, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Diana "Nana" Tirey, Clinton, Mo.; maternal grandfather, Gary "Papa" Tirey, Tightwad, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Tammy and Randy Carroll, Clinton, Mo.; maternal great-grandmother, Beverly Sue Hills, Clinton, Mo.; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Hamblin, Clinton, Mo., and Deloris Collins, Clinton, Mo.; and numerous cousins.
