The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Dodge Dakota driven by a 41 year old male from Amoret, Missouri failed to yield to a 2014 Electromotive Diesel Locomotive driven by a 37 year old male of Pittsburg, Kansas and was struck on the passenger side. The Adrian Rural Fire Department was dispatched at 2344 hours yesterday to a reported structure fire involving a shop that was fully engulfed with several additional exposures in danger. Adrian Fire responded with seven personnel (2) engines, (1) tanker and (1) rescue unit, and a tanker was requested for mutual aid assistance from Butler and Central Cass Fire Departments.
Our first fire units arrived on the scene at 2354 hours finding a heavy fire load to one structure.
