Much cooler temps by the end of the week

Colder temps are indeed on the way

Fortunately, they look sporadic with some breaks. But the downward turn will begin Wednesday night / Thursday morning. Cold, but not super-cold yet anyway.
Ensemble forecasts agree the next cold blast will greet us Thanksgiving morning [image 1], with another one to start the first week of December.

The Archie Whirlwinds took down the Lockwood Tigers this afternoon with a final as seen here, 62-58 in 8 man State Tournament action. Congratulations!

Sunshine should be peeking through this weekend

Watch out for PATCHY FOG Saturday morning, especially in Missouri between highways 65 and 63.

Then the sunshine should break through the departing clouds for the rest of the weekend.
I'll be jumping on the livestreams over the weekend tracking in the next rain system on Sunday night / Monday.
Still think the holiday and holiday weekend are cool, but dry. (It will snow up north in the midwest though, according to this afternoon's data!)
Have a great weekend!
