Dates: September 4, 2026, through September 10, 2026Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:
September 4, 2026 – Warrants:
Sheriff Brown, Captain Bilbruck, Master Sergeant Logan, Detective Kubilus, Detective Stutzman, Deputy Saulters, and Deputy Harms, assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Clinton Police Department, conducted a warrant service in the Clinton area. Bryan Sharp, age 27, of Clinton, was arrested on several Henry County felony warrants for Domestic Assault – 1st Degree, Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Receiving Stolen Property.
September 5, 2026 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
Deputy Douglas conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Walter Grijalba, age 37, of Chilhowee, for Driving While Suspended/Revoked.
September 5, 2026 – Assault:
Deputy Harms responded to a domestic disturbance in progress in the Calhoun area. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Dakodah Yount, age 32, of Calhoun, for Assault. Yount allegedly tackled the victim to the ground during an argument.
September 8, 2026 – Domestic Assault – 4th Degree:
Deputy England responded to a domestic disturbance in progress in the rural Clinton area. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Caleb Ayres, age 39, of Clinton, for Domestic Assault – 4th Degree. Ayres allegedly choked the victim during an argument.
September 9, 2026 – Warrant:
Timblin Angel, age 46, of Clinton, was arrested at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office on a Henry County warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device.
September 9, 2026 – Warrant:
Master Sergeant Logan and Deputy Douglas conducted a warrant service in the Deepwater area that resulted in the arrest of Larry Martin, age 55, of Deepwater, on a Cass County felony warrant for Homicide – Involuntary Manslaughter.
September 9, 2026 – Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Abuse or Neglect of a Child, and Resisting Arrest:
Master Sergeant Logan, Detective Kubilus, Detective Baker, and Deputy McQueen responded to a physical domestic disturbance in progress in the rural Clinton area. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Caleb Ayres, age 39, of Clinton, on a 24-hour investigative hold for Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest.
Within 24 hours, Henry County Prosecuting Attorney Gray filed formal charges, and a warrant was issued for Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Abuse or Neglect of a Child. Ayres allegedly brandished a firearm, choked the victim, and pushed a juvenile. Ayres also allegedly fled the scene on foot before being arrested.
All individuals arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
