The Amsterdam Fire Department along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol is in route to a vehicle that is on fire. The location of this on 18 Highway and County Road 10001 just East of Merwin. The vehicle is fully engulfed in flames at this time. Please use caution in this area and watch for emergency vehicles.
