On 1/10/17 around 2:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriffs Deputies and Butler Fire Department responded to a two vehicle head on crash on Missouri 52 West Highway around 1/4 miles West of Butler.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Buick driven by 61 year old Rosemary Watson of Blue Mound, Kansas crossed the center line of the roadway and struck the 2013 Chevrolet driven by 67 Brenda J. Register of Foster, Missouri head on.
Both women sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Douty's Tow of Butler, Missouri and Don's Tow also of Butler.
