The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Dodge driven by 31 year old Zachary A. St. George of Belton, Missouri swerved into the southbound lane of traffic and struck the 2012 Honda driven by 80 year old John H. Henning of Loch Lloyd, Missouri head on.
Mr. Henning along with a passenger in his vehicle 78 year old Nancy L. Henning also of Loch Lloyd, Missouri were both pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Jackson County Medical Examiners Office.
Mr. St. George sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by GT Tow.
