Poplar Heights open house this weekend

Just when you think summer fun is about over, there's still more to do- The Poplar Heights Living History Farm grand opening is this weekend with lots of things to see, and yes, its free. Enjoy home made food of all types; live music by the South Fork String Band; wagon rides; broom making and basket weaving; tour the restored home built in 1870; see the Bates County Art League show and much, much more (full schedule below).

This great family outing runs 9-5 each day at the Poplar Heights Farm located east on H highway and north on UU highway just a few miles from Butler. For more info call 660-679-0764 or visit the Poplar Farms web site.

2 pm Kids - Candle Making

Sunday, August 15
