Ellett Memorial Hospital will host a "Fit and Fun Community Block Party" on August 20th. The event is a community day of family fun and healthcare information, to be held a the Appleton City hospital.
The 5k walk will kick off the day at 8 a.m.- registration starts at 7:30. Free water bottles will be given to all that register. There will be a special prize for the 'craziest socks'....so dig through your drawers and find the wildest ones you own.
The Ellett Memorial Hospital will be offering free blood pressure readings and cholesterol checks. Plus vendors will be on location from:

Door prizes will be given throughout the day, plus kids games from 10 to noon. There'll be a bounce house, free hot dogs, popcorn and snow cones. The Ellett Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will host a bake sale and in-store specials at the hospital gift shop.
