“It is my highest priority to be available to the citizens of Bates County 24 hours a day, living at the funeral home in Butler. As coroner, I pledge to respond immediately when needed, and to operate a highly professional, trusted, respectable and efficient Coroner’s office for Bates County,” said Mullinax.
Mullinax, a Republican, has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and maintains excellent working relationships with area pathologists, laboratories and law enforcement professionals who interact with the Coroner’s office. He currently is active in several community organizations including the Butler Area Chamber of Commerce, and is active in Bates County Relay for Life. He is finishing his 3rd term as President of the Drexel Lions Club. On weekends he can often be found as a guest organist for Butler area churches.
Communication, dignity, and professionalism for families interacting with the Coroner’s office are key issues to Mullinax.
“A coroner must act at all times with dignity, duty and sincere respect. Families in Bates County can count on me to be available immediately when needed; and diligently carry out the duties of Coroner with the kind of honor and professionalism they would be proud of.” -‐Greg D. Mullinax
