Funeral services for Vera Ann Gilbert will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri with Rev. Sarah Ross officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555). Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Contributions to Amyloidosis Foundation and Alpha-1 Foundation.
Vera Ann Gilbert, age 71 of Adrian, Missouri died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at her home. She was born October 23, 1940 to Chester Arther and Beatrice Taleta Shobe Prior in Mayville, North Dakota.
Vera is survived by her husband, Clark Gilbert of Adrian, Missouri; two daughters, Traci DePeralta and husband Stephen of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Heidi Gilbert of Adrian, Missouri; a brother Chuck Prior and wife Judy of Powell, Wyoming; a sister, Lora Lee Dennison and husband Leo of Adrian, Missouri; her mother Beatrice Prior of Adrian, Missouri; two grandchildren Ebony Shaffer and husband Curtis and Stephen Michael DePeralta; two great-granddaughters, Ella and Evelyn
She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Mitchell Gilbert; and a sister, Neva Dow.
