An even warmer day is on tap for Sunday with readings in the 70s! However, these warmer temperatures will come with a few drawbacks. South winds will be VERY strong through the morning and afternoon hours gusting as high as 40 mph at times.
By mid-afternoon, a front will arrive and thunderstorms are expected to form along this front. While it doesn't look like a large severe weather threat for the area, a few storms could produce some small hail and gusty winds. The prime time for widespread rain will be after 4pm with a line of thunderstorms slowly moving southeast into the evening. Rainfall amounts of 0.50" to 1" or more will be possible.
Once again, if you have outdoor plans, most of your day will be fine, but keep an eye to the sky by mid-afternoon.
