Weather Update

The Showers will linger this morning over eastern Kansas and northern Missouri with a larger area of thunderstorms continuing to move east across southern Missouri. By early this afternoon, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms may redevelop as a front move in from the northwest. While severe weather is NOT expected in the local area, a few thunderstorms could produce small hail into the early evening hours.

A strong cold front will arrive on Saturday and temperatures will fall below normal once again. In fact, temperatures Saturday night may fall into the upper 30s in some areas and may attempt to break record lows! The good news is that this cold spell will be very short lived. By Tuesday, we may be looking at widespread temperatures in the 80s!
