UPDATE: Yesterday Wreck off B Highway South East Of Rich Hill
A Butler man suffered a minor injury Saturday afternoon in a two-car collision at a rural intersection of two Bates County roads Southeast of Rich Hill. 20-year-old William Plunkett was treated at Bates County Memorial Hospital, Butler. Missouri Highway Patrol Cpl. M.A. Pate says the collision happened about 4:30 p.m. when a South-bound Chevy Equinox, driven by 36-year-old Kari Thorp, Rich Hill, attempted to make a left turn and drove into the path of a West-bound Dodge Neon driven by by Plunkett has he was attempting to make a right turn and the two cars collided nearly head-on. Neither Thorp nor a passenger in the Neon, 29-year-old Christina Casida, Rich Hill, was hurt.
