The Bates County Fair will continue on Wednesday July 17. The Cattlemen and Cattlewomen are happy to host the Cattlemen’s Steak dinner on July 17 at 5PM at the Bates County Fairgrounds. Come and enjoy the Cattlemen’s Steak dinner. There will be 10 ounce Rib-Eye, Baked Beans, Baked Potato, and Drinks. The tickets for the Cattlemen’s Steak Dinner will be $12.
Following the Cattlemen’s Steak Dinner will be the Baby Contest, held on the East side of the Youth Building.
Registration for the Baby Contest will be at 6PM and the contest will begin at 7PM. To register the baby must be between the ages of 0 and 24 months. The Entry Fee per contestant is $5. The Baby Contest is diapers only. No hair accessories, rubber bands, hats, earrings, ect are allowed.
The Baby Contest is sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi Epsilon Omicron Chapter. All proceeds from the Baby Contest will be donated to a scholarship fund and local charities.
Bingo will be happening nightly Monday through Saturday, July 15-20, at 7PM. Bingo will be held at the Bingo Pavilion and is sponsored by Adrian Elks.
