From The Bates County Sheriffs Office

We hope to see everyone at the 3rd Annual Bates County Sheriffs Posse's Ultimates Horsemens Challenge at the Bates County Fair! The event is this Saturday starting at 9 am. The course will be set up just south of the fairgrounds by the brush site. This is a free event for spectators to come out and enjoy. Concessions will be provided by the Butler Mason Lodge and Demolay. All proceeds from the challenge will go to the Posse's Restoration Fund for the Law Enforcement Museum located on Fort Scott Street here in Butler.
