Obituary - Jesse Dean Van Tuyl

JESSE DEAN VAN TUYL 31
La Cygne Kansas
11/25/1981 to 8/3/2013

Jesse was born in Shawnee Kansas on November 25, 1981. He was the son of the late Melvin Dennis Van Tuyl and Kelly Van Tuyl, currently
of La Cygne, Ks.

Jesse graduated high school with a GED, went to Johnson County Junior College and received his Associates Degree in Automotive Technology and later opened his own auto shop, J.V.''s Auto, in 2006. His passion was car stereos and the louder they were, the better! He loved tinkering with old cars and always'' had some project in the works. That was one of many things he and his Dad shared and spent many hours in the shop working side by side.
They were very close.

He used to be an avid bowler and won many awards. He wasn''t too bad at playing pool either! He enjoyed working with wood and was always'' drawing designs for things to build.

He had a very deep faith and was a proud member of the Calvary Baptist Church in LaCygne.

Jesse, like his father Dennis, was very easy going, loved people and was always'' helping whomever he could. He continued that even after his death by donating organs, which he strongly believed in. He saved two lives with his kidneys to individuals in New York. Jesse himself was a donor recipient at the age of 4 when his father donated his own bone marrow to save Jesse''s life. He also received a cornea so he wanted to pay it forward. If someday, those recipients get an urge to have a loud stereo system in their cars, we will know why! Jesse always'' kept a great attitude about life despite all the medical issues he had dealt with since birth and was still dealing with. He is now at peace with Dennis and all the family members that have gone before him. He is in God''s loving arms where we all want to be when we are called home.
Jesse was a very brave man and will be missed greatly by us all.
