Funeral services for Orval L. Jennings will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Dr. Terry Davis officiating. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday, August 10 at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Butler First Baptist Church or Heartland Hospice.
Orval Leon Jennings, age 95 of Butler, Missouri, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his home in Butler. He was born October 23, 1917 to Arthur and Molly Yancy Jennings in Maysville, Missouri.
Orval is survived by his wife, Pauline Jennings of Butler, Missouri; two sons, Bob Jennings and wife Linda of Butler, Missouri and Kent Jennings and wife Christy of Overland Park, Kansas; one daughter, Nancy Jennings of Butler, Missouri; two brothers, Harold Jennings and wife Jeanette of Butler, Missouri and Wilbur Jennings and wife JoAnn of Butler, Missouri; a sister, Alice Mae Jennings of Butler, Missouri; four grandchildren, Craig Jennings and wife Robyn, Geri Fagler and husband Jeff, Kelsey and Madison Jennings; and four great-grandchildren, Rylee, Caily, Macy and Will. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George; a sister-in-law, Marie Jennings; and nieces, Brandee and Bailey Bickelman.
