The Butler Bears Homecoming date has been set for October 18th. The 2013 theme will be “ Disney”. Make your plans to prepare a float and join the celebration of the Butler Bears Homecoming activities. The Butler Bears will take on the Mid-Way Vikings on home turf at 7 pm. For those of you that can’t attend the 2013 Homecoming game, join FM-92 for Play by Play on Radio.

Spirit Days are as follows:
Monday - Sleeping Beauty - P.J. Day
Tuesday - Transformation Day - Dress as Your Favorite Disney Character
Wednesday - Donald Duck Dynasty Day
Thursday - Mickey Mouse Red and Black Day
Friday - Red and Black Game Day
T-shirts will be passed out during BEAR time on Wednesday for High School and delivered to the grade school on Wednesday so they go home with students that evening. *May be subject to change based on deliver of t-shirts.
The Bear Backers will be sponsoring our annual Bonfire at the Deaton Thomas Field on Thursday,October 17th at 8:30pm. Please come out and cheer on the football team!!
The Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, October 18th with line-up starting at 2:30pm at the High School. The parade will start promptly at 3:00pm from High School Parking Lot. Parade Marshall's this year are Arnie and Sherry Hannah.
The Agenda for Homecoming is as follows:
6:00pm Bear Backer's serving dinner - $8 per person or free to members
6:30pm Parent's Night at field
6:40pm Fly-in of game ball by Sky Dive of KC
6:50pm National Anthem by High School and Alumni Band
6:53pm Butler Bears Team run in along with Little League Football Teams (Grades 3, 4, & 5)
6:57pm Coin Toss
7:00pm Kick-off between Butler Bears and Midway Vikings
8:00pm Half-time:

Coronation - Band
Senior Band Members Recognition
8:20pm 2nd Half of Homecoming Game
