St. Clair County Man Arrested On Warrants
On Monday, Oct. 7, Timmy Mcintire, 21, Appleton City, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on a felony St. Clair County warrant. The warrant was related to class C felony charge of stealing from an incident in July. Mcintire was out of jail on an own recognizance (OR) bond related to the charge. He appeared in court for arraignment and Circuit Court Judge James Journey revoked the OR bond and issued a new warrant on the charge with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. The warrant was served and Mcintire was taken into custody. Further court proceedings were scheduled for Nov. 4.
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Mcintire was charged with class C felony burglary in the second degree from an incident that occurred on Oct. 4 in Appleton City. In the early morning hours on Oct. 5, a deputy was dispatched to 312 West Second Street and took a report of an altercation that involved Mcintire. Two victims reported Mcintire was intoxicated and punched a widow of the home and broke it. They stated he was reaching through the broken window trying to grab them and eventually entered the residence. There was another altercation and Mcintire was pushed out of the residence. He fled when a call to law enforcement was made. He was later arrested and released pending formal charges. An arrest warrant on this case was issued and served on Oct. 9 while Mcintire was in custody. Bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety and as of Tuesday, Oct. 15, Mcintire was still being held in the St. Clair County Jail. Further court proceedings in this case are scheduled on Nov. 6.
