Sheriff Scott Keeler reported on Friday evening, Nov. 8, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and
members of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force made three arrests related
to drug activity in St. Clair County. Julia Mitchell, 52; David Foley,
52; and Karen Foley, 47, all of Collins, were arrested during the
investigation.
Chief
Deputy Mike Crocker explained contact was made with two individuals at a
residence on SE 600 Road, Collins. The investigation led law
enforcement to a second residence on SE 550 Road, Collins. A search
warrant for that residence was obtained and several items related to
drug activity were seized and arrests were made.
On
Saturday, Nov. 9, arrest warrants were obtained charging Mitchell with
class B felony of distribution of methamphetamines. Her bond was set at
$25,000 cash or surety. David and Karen Foley were both charged with
class C felony of possessing methamphetamines with bonds of $10,000 cash
or surety. As of Tuesday, Nov. 11, all three remain in custody.
“If
you live in St. Clair County and choose to be involved in illegal drug
activity, you will end up in jail,” said Sheriff Keeler.
