One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday night around 11pm in Cass County on Highway 291 north of 215th St.
Stacey R. Davis, 43, Clinton, wearing a seat belt, was southbound in a
2004 Oldsmobile. The vehicle slid on ice, traveled off the right side of
the roadway, and went into a creek.
A passenger was
injured. Sheila D. Strickland, 44, Clinton, not wearing a seat belt, had
minor injuries and was transported by EMS to the Cass County Regional
Medical Center.
The Davis vehicle had moderate damage and
was removed from the scene by J’s Southland Towing. She had drivers
insurance through Farmers.
Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper
R.J. Hastings investigated the accident and was assisted by the Cass
County Sheriff’s Department.
