Justice Served For Slain Man


TOMMY MACKEY
In April 2007, Indio Mayan Inglehart ( Formerly of Butler) was found in a car in Kansas City with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Inglehart was 30 years old when he was killed.

Working on a tip from authorities in Kansas City, the San Bernardino California County Sheriff’s Department began a search for Tommy Mackey. Mackey was found in a Super 99 Cent Plus store where he began firing at detectives.


Mackey was taken into custody and was struck with at least two bullets.


Mackey was charged in Wyandotte County, Kansas with the Murder of Mayan Inglehart Formerly of Olean, MO.


Mackey’s trial began in November, 2013 and has been convicted of II degree murder. The sentencing part of the trial will begin with impact statements.
The family and friends of Mayan Inglehart in the Bates County area are grateful that justice has finally been served.
