On Tuesday, Jan. 9, Sandra Stewart, 32, Osceola, was arrested on outstanding St. Clair County warrants for a probation violation and possessing a controlled substance. Stewart was placed on supervised probation in February 2013 after a guilty plea to class B felony charge of burglary in the first degree. A warrant in this case was issued on Jan. 8 with bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.
On Jan. 2, formal charges were filed with the court and an arrest warrant was issued for Stewart charging her with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. The charge stems from an incident involving the Osceola Police Department on Dec. 26, 2013. Bond is set at $10,000.
